Though, it can be kind of tough to make things better when we really don’t feel like ourselves in the first place. So, let’s take what we know about how we are feeling and what our purpose is in life and mash them together.
Once we have combined the two, the answer to all of our problems seems to show up right in front of our eyes. That answer being, the opportunity to give back.

OK, stay with me here, it’ll all make sense soon. We know that you are the one in the dumps and it’s hard to see how giving back to others can help you, but that is precisely the point. When we are able to take a moment to step back from our own situations and really get a hold on what our lives really mean to us, all of the funk seems to go away.
So, what does this have to do with giving back? Once you are able to see more clearly, you are able to see how helping others can help lift your spirits.
When was the last time you sent someone a small gesture? Do you remember how it made them feel? More importantly, while thinking about how it made them feel, how did you feel? Most likely than not it made you feel like you were walking on air. Their happiness was so infectious that it charged up your life with joy.
