It’s been a long few years in college, you have gone through so many ups and downs to make it to the finish-line. So we’d first like to start off with a congratulations! All of your hard work paid off and here you are, with your degree in hand ready to take on the world. Though, you may be wondering what is to come and who you’ll meet on your new found adventure. Though we can’t tell you exactly where you are headed, we can tell you who you might meet on your path to success.
You’ll meet rejection.
Morbid as it may seem, it’s honestly the first of many you’ll meet on your road to success. In life we all go through rejection for our dream career’s even if it seems like we are the one and only person for the job. Instead of putting all your beans into one basket, it’s best to always be prepared for both the best and the worst situations. Don’t worry though, there is a saying that says “when one door closes, another opens”, so be hopeful and hard working and things will work out the way they should.
You’ll meet opportunity.
Remember how that one door closed? Well, opportunity just unlocked the next door and you’ve met your chance. Most likely you’ll meet this person in a form of a boss or coworker. Opportunity will allow you to show the world what you have to offer and propel you down a path of success.
You’ll meet competition.
In life, those who come to work with you will either push you forward or push you back, these people are known as your competitors. They will challenge your skills, your thoughts, and your work. You’ll need to work hard in order to keep your self in the best shape in order to keep up, but at the end of the day you’ll shine and appreciate how their challenges helped you reach your top potential.
You’ll meet motivation.
Just like you’ll meet those who will make you work hard through competition, you’ll meet those who motivate you to be your best. Maybe they’ll come as a form of a mentor, boss, or even a friend, these people will bring out the best of your intentions and help you rise to the very top.
You’ll meet yourself.
At the end of your journey, you’ll reflect back on your path and who you’ve met along the way. All of those people have helped shape you into the person you will become. We hope that whoever you turn out to be, you’re proud of them because as you’ll find out, it wasn’t an easy road to get there.
